The platinnEs project, jointly approved by the Aerospace Valley and Cancer-Bio-Santé competitiveness clusters, came into existence from the needs expressed by manufacturers to be backed on e-health market: the need for a common vocabulary between medical and industrial worlds, the need for knowledge about the potential development of the sector, the need for manufacturers support in their relationships with health institutions...

platinnEs is a single window offering a portfolio of recognized experts and test sites in high-tech sectors to accelerate e-health technologies development and its market access:

  • e-health market decoding for companies, economic models analysis and access to health and home care services funders;
  • Help in setting up files and looking for funding for companies;
  • Projects emergence and engineering: watching, benchmarking, strategic studies...
  • Evaluation, experimental implementation of solutions: clinical trials with patients active files...

platinnEs is both established in the Midi-Pyrenean area (Midi-Pyrenees region is pioneer in e-health expertise) and opened to all e-health projects developed in France and abroad.

As a real innovative and accelerating platform for the e-health sector development in France, platinnEs will take part in structuration and development of e-health French market. Our ambition is to generate significant time savings (about 1 year) in the e-health solution developing process.

Today law 1901 association, platinnEs will become a Cooperative Society of Collective Interest (SCIC). This innovative legal structure allows the integration of public and private actors in the governance to make them cooperate for the development of appropriate solutions. The shareholders’ pact is in the making but remains opened to actors (manufacturers, health institutions, funders) possibly interested to conduct a collective discussion about structuration of e-health sector in France, evaluation of the technologies and definition of business models to build.
